We are in touch with the Harbour Master about the large amount of rubbish that often accumulates in Bathurst Basin.
New street signs installed
The Council has installed new street signs in Lower Guinea Street with commendable speed.
Street-sign success
Two new street name-plates to be installed: one at the Commercial Road end, near the car park and a second on the corner of Guinea Street and Lower Guinea Street.

Following the extensive conversion work on the General Hospital, we have lost the road signs on Lower Guinea Street which runs from the public Council Car Park to the Ostrich Inn.
Cardiff Yacht Club visit to Cabot Cruising Club
Visit of Cardiff Yacht Club to Cabot Cruising Club in Bathurst Basin. It was a first trip to Bristol for many of the Cardiff folk.
Butcombe Beer Cruise: Meet the Brewer
On 20th and 22nd June from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, Butcombe Brewery, in partnership with No 7 Boats, are running a 2-stop cruise along the Bristol Harbourside.
Swing bridge closure
The swing bridge at the harbour entrance to Bathurst Basin will be closed for one week from Monday 20th to Saturday 25th May.
Ebenhaezer meeting
Bathurst Basin stakeholders met with local councillors to discuss the proposed move of the Ebenhaezer barge to the Lower Guinea Street quayside
Ebenhaezer petition
Steve Maggs has set up a petition seeking support for the view that the move of the Ebenhaezer boat to Bathurst Basin is totally inappropriate.
Dredging in Bathurst Basin
Presumably to ensure that the Ebenhaezer barge can be moved into Bathurst Basin, the entrance to the Basin was dredged in March 2019.
