The concrete planters on Bathurst Parade are in full bloom. Placed there by the Harbourmaster’s office, they were largely ignored until individuals from Merchants Landing Residents Association agreed to plant and maintain them. Originally plain concrete, at some stage they were painted in bright colours by someone unknown. They enhance the Basin and we are very grateful to the individuals who have taken on their maintenance.
