Cabot Cruising Club hope to be part of the Bristol Light Festival when they light up the John Sebastian Lightship between 31st January and 9th February. The Club has put £1,000 aside for the project but is seeking additional funds to make the display even more dramatic. Donations can be made through Gofundme .
The John Sebastian will be 140 years old this year – an additional reason light it up in celebration. The Club plans to open their doors on key festival days, offering visitors a unique chance to step aboard.
