Hugh Pratt has successfully leased the railway cutting which will continue to function as a carpark which it has been since 1973. It’s a shame that a more imaginative use of the historic cutting hasn’t been found. Thankfully Dr Pratt’s intention to build unwelcome residential accommodation units there seems to have been shelved.
