During the public applause for the National Health Service, SXS Events arranged for a laser-display to appear on the steeple of St Mary Redcliffe – all to show support for those doing vital work while the country in lockdown. Residents will have noticed that the beam shines across the night sky at other times. Our image shows the beam competing with Venus over Bathurst Basin.
SXS Events manager Johnny Palmer explains:
“There isn’t much event work on right now for my company so we thought about what we could do to support the awesome work of the NHS. A laser beam down Bristol harbour seemed perfect and allowed a great visual expression of the campaign.”
