Proposals for a BoxHall development in the O&M sheds in Welsh Back have been scrapped. Friends of Bathurst Basin was formed as a community group in May 2019 to stop Bristol City Council from moving a sizeable barge, the Ebenhaezer, to a mooring along the Lower Guinea Street quay of Bathurst Basin. Developers wanted the quayside alongside O&M shed to be clear to allow a cantilevered front to the floating harbour.
