The Ostrich team led by manager Sophie Hayter are planning a summer entertainment programme. They stress that all events are planned with the area in mind: they have put a ban on any DJ led events and have asked all organisers to keep events appropriate to the area, surrounded as it is by residences.
On the docks – 24th May – 12pm-6pm
Acoustic style music music between 12pm and 6pm, 3 musicians, all folk/singer songwriter. Free ferry running between The Ostrich & The Cottage
Morris Dancers – Monday 1st June
Thatcher’s Summer Sessions – Friday 12th June – Returning event from last year,
Pop up thatchers bar, acoustic music 5pm-8pm
Big Summer Quiz – 15th August – TBC
Outside quiz 12:30 – 14:30, amplified music playlist/microphone
Free bottle of wine for pre-booked teams – local residents only
