During the week beginning 23rd May, the John Sebastian car park was protected by security staff allowing access only to a film crew working close by. They were filming scenes for ‘The Outlaws’ at Francombe House on Commercial Road, scenes which would also involve stunt shots.
The Outlaws is a BBC crime thriller comedy television series created and directed by Bristol-born Stephen Merchant. It is about seven lawbreakers from very different backgrounds as they embark on community payback sentences, which involve renovating a derelict building in Bristol.
Coincidentally, we have been liaising with the Ministry of Justice Probation Service South West and the Harbour Estates office to arrange ‘Community Payback’ work in Bathurst Basin – work that has recently started.
