Public Automatic External Defibrillator

Martyn Green, resident of the General, is collecting funds to install an emergency external defibrillator (AED) to be accessible if anyone close to Bathurst Basin has a cardiac arrest. The nearest defibrillators are nearly half a mile away.

Update November 2019: Martyn has secured a grant from the British Heart Foundation that partly funds the defibrillator. We now need £600 for the AED and £550 for the external housing. On 11th November, £760 had been raised – so just £390 to go.
