The dull grey fencing to the left of the Ostrich Inn was brightened on Easter Saturday with a mural by ‘Zed In The Clouds’ (Shotty Tree Crew), a work commissioned by the Ostrich.
Zed is a multi-disciplinary artist with a specialism in murals and large scale installations. The work along Lower Guinea Street will brighten the days of Bathurst Basin residents and visitors to the Ostrich Inn. The Ostrich is one of 94 pubs in the United Kingdom selected for the 2022 National Pub & Bar Awards. The selected pubs will be officially crowned at a red carpet celebration in London on 22nd June when 15 regional winners will be announced, as well as the overall National Pub & Bar of the Year. Fingers crossed for the Ostrich.
