FOBB has worked closely with Bristol Harbour Estates office to maintain the benches around Bathurst Basin in good order. Eric Dougall and his team have done much to make the quayside attractive to residents and visitors alike. Unfortunately their good work has been undone recently by what appears to be mindless, destructive behaviour, as our image reveals.
The Harbour Estate team acted with commendable speed and a brand-new bench was soon in place to replace the vandalised one. The speed of response by the team to remove and replace the bench was outstanding.
